Former NFL quarterback and activist Colin Kaepernick wore a custom Ozwald Boateng look to the 2025 Met Gala on May 5th in New York. The event celebrated the Costume Institute’s “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”
Kaepernick wore a regal red silk jacquard suit with a fine geometric pattern. Over it, he layered a dramatic matching overcoat lined in magenta satin, a vivid nod to 1920s New York tailoring.
He completed the look with a crisp white shirt, slim black tie, and oxblood leather shoes. A silver brooch and bold rings added sharp, personal touches.
